BASKET LINER
Adding a cloth liner to a woven basket is a great way to add contrast to your decoration or continue with a color scheme!
Find the dimensions of your preferred basket.
Find a relatively large piece of cloth in whatever color or pattern you like.
Cut the fabric into the shape of an unfolded box. Keep in mind how much overhang you would like over the sides of your basket.
Hem a border. Increase the distance between the stitching and the edge if you would like to add a bow in front.
To make a tie, cut a long strip of fabric about 1 - 2 inches wide. Fold lengthwise and sew the edges together.
Feed the tie you have made through the openings in the hem and make sure both ends are in the front of the basket.
Set the liner into your basket and tie a knot as desired.
That's it! This small piece will add some personality to any shelf or table.
