DISTRESSED DENIM

Distressing a pair of plain jeans transforms them into a trendy and fashionable article of clothing.

If you prefer a patched, destructed denim look, cut parallel lines about 1 inch apart.

Use tweezers pull the white threads from the edges of the cut fabric but do not rip them off.

Once the blue strip slowly narrows, you can pull away the remaining blue fabric so that you are left with a beautiful destructed patch.

If you prefer a patched destructed denim look, cut parallel lines about 1 inch apart.

Use quick strokes towards you to fray and scratch the surface of the fabric.

Be sure to place a piece of cardboard into the jeans to prevent destructing both sides!

For further destressing, use a single blade of scissors and touch up the tops of pockets and other small areas.

Place your created masterpiece in the wash and it will be ready for everyday wear!
