Scrunchies are a cute, must-have accessory to pair with anything in your wardrobe!

Start with fabric, (cotton recommended) ¼” elastic, thread, a safety pin, and scissors.

Cut the fabric 22” by 3 ½”.

Measure and cut the elastic 9” long.

Fold the fabric in half with the right side in and pin on the top.

Fold one end back ½” and stitch a ¼” seam.

Attach the safety pin to the edge of the fabric and turn the tube right-side out.

Press the seam and use the safety pin to thread the elastic.

Make sure to hold on to both ends!

Knot the two ends of the elastic together.

Move the knot to the side and move the raw edge of the fabric inside the folded edge.

Pin and stitch across the junction.

Admire your finished creation!
